ZARIA-Protesting youths yesterday razed the residence of Vice-President Namadi Sambo, located on Baba Ahmed Road, Tudun Wada, Zaria, Kaduna State.
The house was still in flame as at the time of filing this report.
Eyewitnesses also told The reporter that the protesters forced open the Zaria Central Prison, letting off the inmates.
Areas affected by the protests included Zaria City, Tudun Wada, Samaru, Danmagaji and Gwarwaji.
The youth swarmed all major roads in the town but armed policemen and military personnel were on hand to control the situation.
Meanwhile, the government has imposed a 24-hour curfew in the state
