Due to the recent killing, the State Security Service has started monitoring preaching in mosques and churches,as part of measures to prevent religious crisis in the state.

BOMB DISCOVERED IN BAUCHI STATE

The discovery of a bomb led to a stampede in an area in Bauchi, but authorities were able to defuse it before it exploded, police said Wednesday.

 Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, has promised the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Dr. Samuel Odulana Odugade that she would work diligently in the Federal Executive Cabinet to ensure the creation of Ibadan State which she said, had been long overdue.
